Dance, Etc. Studio of Dance has been serving dancers and their families in Eastern Kentucky for over twelve years.  Dance Etc. prides it's self on professional dance instruction in a positive and fun learning environment.

Dance Etc. offers classes in pre-ballet, Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Jazz for ages 3 and up.  Owner/Instructor Jody Shepherd has a B.S. Degree in Dance from Radford University in Virginia and over 12 years of teaching experience.  Mrs. Shepherd and all of her assistant teachers are experienced and always approach all students in a professional yet loving and friendly manner.  They feel very blessed to be able to share their love for dance with their students.  To learn more about instructors click on the "Staff" page.

Dance Etc. students have performance opportunities including it's annual "Nutcracker" and "Spring Recital" both held at the Mountain Arts Center, a state of the art facility which seats over 1,000 spectators.  Each year the studio presents 6 sold out performances of the "Nutcracker", including 4 matinees for local schools and 2 evening performances and 2 sold out performances of the "Spring Recital", which has a different theme each year.

Dance Etc. is also the home to the Dance Etc. Elite All Star Dance Teams.  These groups are made up of dancers chosen by invitation out of their weekly dance classes to travel and compete with the award winning teams.  To learn more about these groups and their accomplishments click on the "Elite" page.
