Elite 2011-2012 Payment Schedule & Competition Information Make all checks payable to Dance Elite Boosters Thursday, June 2nd: First order form and money due for Elite tees, practice wear, bags is due to your team treasurer. Elite Training Camp payment is due ($50). Pee Wees, Preps and Juniors Jazz/Variety costume money is due and Seniors ½ down on jazz costume is due. Pee Wees Jazz ($85), Preps Jazz/Variety ($65), Juniors Jazz /Variety ($95), Seniors ½ Jazz ($70) Team treasurers, I need all this info and money from you by no later than Friday, June 3rd. Monday, June 13th- Wednesday, June 15th: DE Elite Training Camp Pee Wees and Preps each day from 8:30-12:30 and Juniors and Seniors each day 1:30-5:30 Pack a light snack, bring water bottle. Wednesday, June 15th: Juniors and Seniors only $100 due partial payment for Choreography. Wednesday, June 15th: 6pm-8pm Elite Pool Party at Archer Park!!! Friday, June 24th: Senior Pom Choreography 9a.m.-????? Saturday, June 25th: Junior Pom Choreography 9a.m.-???? Monday, June 27th- Friday, July 1st: Optional Dance Etc Studio Camp. 9a.m.-noon daily. Classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre dance and Technique. Reduced $75 rate for Elite Dancers. Wednesday, June 29th: Pee Wee Elite Practice 1:00pm-2:30pm (tech practice/skill evaluation) Prep Practice 2:30pm-4:00pm (tech practice/ skill evaluation)

Thursday, August 18th: The second Elite order form is due with the parent shirt order and warm-up orders. Second half of jazz costumes is due for Seniors $70. Thursday, September 1st: Balance of pom uniform due ($125) Saturday, September 10th: Prep Jazz Choreography 9am-4pm (pack a lunch) Saturday, September 24th: Prep Variety Choreography 9am-4pm (pack a lunch) Wednesday, October 5th: Performance for Jenny Wiley Festival. 6pm at Prestonsburg High School Gymnasium. Studio classes as well as Elite teams will perform. We will perform Elite routines in full costume, hair and makeup. Thursday, October 28th : Entry fees for the Jamfest Competition in Lexington due to your team treasurer. $97 fee to compete in 2 categories. This is just a one day competition. Overnight stay is optional. We will not find out until closer to the event whether we compete in the morning or evening. Saturday, December 10th : Jamfest Winter Jam in Lexington at the Convention Center attached to the Hyatt and Rupp. Competition times will be given one week prior to the competition. We will compete Pom and Jazz/Variety at this event. Spectators attend for free. Thursday, January 5th : Jamfest Dance Super Nationals Entry Fees Are Due. Fees for those competing Pom and Jazz only are $166 and for those also competing lyrical they are $212 Solo entry fees are $91 and Duo/Trio entry fees are $114. This event is held at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington. Please make your hotel reservations immediately for this event as the hotels will book up. The following hotels are directly beside the convention center and the Marriott is attached by skywalk. Marriott Cincinnati Rivercenter 859-261-2900 Embassy Suites Rivercenter 859-261-8400 Thursday, January 26th: Bluegrass Classic Entry fees due. $47 for two routines, an additional $12 for Lyrical. Solos are $40 and Duos are $40 per person. Thursday, February 9th: Spirit Sports Battle at the Beach Entry Fees due. $150 for two routines, and an additional $45 for lyrical. Solos are offered but they have not posted prices or info yet. Friday, February 17th - Sunday, February 19th : Jamfest Dance Super Nationals at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington. Spectators attend this event free. Saturday, March 3rd: Bluegrass Classic Championships at the Frankfort Convention Center. This is a one day competition so overnight stay is not required. We will relay info on this competition as they post it. Friday, March 23rd-Sunday, March 25th: Spirit Sports Battle at the Beach at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Lodging is at your discretion for this event. More info will be relayed as they post it. Additional Lyrical category All dancers compete in Pom and Jazz or Variety however lyrical is optional. We will compete lyrical routines at the Jamfest Nationals, Bluegrass Classic and Battle at the Beach. If you plan to compete lyrical you must let your team president know by November 3rd so we can get lyrical costumes ordered. We try to keep the lyrical costumes as cheap as possible. Other In the Fall we will be ordering makeup kits for all dancers, shoes, tights and any jewelry that is needed for the costumes. We will let everyone know this info when classes start back in August. |
